On Wednesday, June 4, in Santander, Agri Sud-Ouest Innovation was honoured to receive notification that three projects submitted to the SUDOE program had been accepted. BIOSOLUDOE (ASOI leader): aims to build a network of five living labs (two in France, two in Spain, and one in Portugal) to develop biosolution-based integrated Pest Management Strategies. SPACEAGRO (Catalonia Institute of Space Studies leader, ASOI partner): aims to exploit the potential of the latest spatial data to develop innovative services for agriculture. ASCA (Spanish Chamber of Commerce leader, ASOI partner): aims to develop training and expertise services to support agri-food SMEs in their digital and environmental transition. Through its involvement in these projects, ASOI gives access to EU funding for six members of its network (INVENIO, UPVD, MTB, Institut Agro, Institut Polytechnique Bordeaux) who are participating as partners. These projects complement the cluster’s strategic roadmap in the areas of “Agroecology transition » and “Digital transformation in agriculture and the food sectors ». With these three new projects, ASOI is now involved in 12 European projects with 17 members of its network. The cluster is thus confirming its position in Europe and its ambition to become one of the leading catalyst for innovation in the agriculture and agri-food sector.
