OccitanIA

An all-in-one service to accelerate the digitisation of businesses.

As the single point of entry for businesses in the Occitanie region, EDIH OccitanIA supports SMEs in the health, mobility, agriculture and agri-food sectors in their digital transformation, helping them to become more competitive.

Objectives

The overall objective is to create a unique entry-point for companies, to support their digital shift to fully exploit the potential of data, in a decompartmentalized, secure and ethical way, and to offer them direct access to the most advanced expertise, services, skills and training resources and technologies in the field.

The specific objectives are:

  • Create and develop a strong and integrated regional network, acting as a transparent one-stop-shop between companies and regional and extra-regional digital support centres of excellence and service offers.
  • Orchestrate and offer direct access to the most recent and/or disruptive expertise and technologies in the field of digital transformation by the use of data (including IA, cyber, spatial technologies).
  • Decompartmentalise and secure the exploitation of data by economics actors, to serve the major transitions of the main regional economic sectors (including green transition).
  • Support the increase in skills and technologies required to exploit the data, with two different journeys according to the companies’ maturity level.
  • Support the access to funding dedicated to digital transformation, to overcome the low investment capacities of regional SMEs & VSEs
  • Become a centre of excellence for Europe for the access and exploitation of space data.
